I’m educated thanks to the military’s Montgomery GI Bill. I’m an Afghanistan War veteran and have two decades of PR experience. I have two Public Relations Society of America Silver Anvils — one from my military public affairs work and one overseeing a student government public affairs project. I have a Silver Anvil Award of Excellence. I coached the University of Georgia Bateman Case Study Competition team on to become national champions.

I set big goals, and crush them.

When I enlisted on active duty in the Navy, I just wanted a way to get out of Kansas. I stumbled into a profession built around service and an industry that allowed me to tell the most inspiring stories you’ve ever heard.

I love surfing, sailing, Gator football and America.

I am married to Rear Admiral Charlie Brown, APR+M. He kept his family name after the wedding.
